First responders to be honored

Members of the Franklin County Arts Alliance will be honoring fire fighters, police and medical personnel from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 12. That will be the last day of their First Repsonder Exhibit.

Blind Date with a Book at library

Readers visiting Franklin County Library during the month of February will be offered “blind dates” with books. Like a true blind date, readers who check out a special “blind date” book won’t know the title or author of their book.

Culinary arts, social media classes planned

Registration is now open for one to four Culinary Arts and Social Media classes Saturdays, January 9 to 30 at the Cultural Arts Center. The Social Media classes will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. each Saturday.
