Hannah Kirby is contestant on reality show “The Voice”

Local performer Hannah Kirby, age 21 of Sulphur Springs, caught the judges’ ear and is now entering round two of the reality television series “The Voice” on NBC.

Clinton in piano recital Sunday

Dr. Ron Clinton, Northeast Texas Community College Executive Vice President for Instruction, will perform a solo piano recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

Coffee house experience at CAC

A Beatniks-Bongos-Brew and Fondue event will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at the Cultural Arts Center. The public is encouraged to attend and to dress in beatnik style.

Father daughter dance to benefit child advocacy center

The fourth annual Father Daughter Dance - Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to benefit the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center (NETCAC) will be on Saturday, March 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Winnsboro City Auditorium.

Members of the Franklin County Arts Alliance will be hosts for a Beatniks-Bongos-Brew and Fondue event on Saturday, March 7. The public is encouraged to attend and to dress in beatnik style. See the  February 26 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details about this event.
