Wine in the Pines October 26 and 27

Wine in the Pines display booth Plans are in the final stages for the 2012 Wine in the Pines Event. It is set from 5-9 p.m. Friday night, Oct. 26 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 on the downtown Mount Vernon plaza.
Loretta Callens, Gabe Clayton and Susanna Seabourne will be providing entertainment during the event. Arts and crafts vendors can still register for a booth for next weekend’s event. The price of a 10x10 foot booth space is $75 each. Vendors can register for both the Wine in the Pines 2012 and the 2013 Piney Woods Wine Trail Association Festival (May 18) for $100 and save $50 on the cost of registering for each separately. An additional $10 fee is required for either electricity or water at each event. All Festival vendors must provide their own free standing booth tent, tables, lighting and other supplies. The event committee will assign booth locations.
No resale or garage sale items will be allowed. This is an outdoor event. While there is an alternate building location for the event, there are no refunds for inclement weather.
The winery booths will be located on the upper level of the plaza. Craft and art booths will be located around the base of the plaza and as needed along Houston and Dallas streets north and east of the plaza. During the event registered patrons may carry their tastings within the downtown area.
