MLK Unity March planned for January 21

The annual “Unity March” in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is set for Monday, January 21. Participants will gather at 9:30 a.m. at the Denton Missionary Baptist Church to begin their march to the downtown courthouse.

Historical Association’s Annual meeting Monday

The first meeting of the new year for the Franklin County Historical Association will be on Monday, January 7, at the Cultural Arts Center at the corner of Rusk and Dallas streets, one block west of the courthouse.

John Stewart to be guest speaker at beekeepers’ meeting

Forgiven coming to Calvary Baptist

The Forgiven Quartet will be in concert at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at Calvary Baptist Temple. The quartet has been listed as Branson Gospel Music Association “Grand Champions”.
