Royalty to be meeting topic

Trike/Bike-a-Thon

Gabe StumpKids Under Construction recently had their annual Trike/Bike-a-Thon benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Gabe Stump raised the most funds with $125.

Members of the Rockhill Cemetery Association will elect a new president for the first time in 21 years at their annual meeting and pot luck luncheon Saturday, May 21 on the cemetery grounds.

Foster parenting interest meeting set

A Foster-Adoptive Parent Information Meeting will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at the meal center at 208 Taylor St., two blocks west of the courthouse in Mount Vernon for those who have any interest in possibly becoming foster parents.

The annual homecoming service at the Fairview Cemetery in northern Franklin County will be on Sunday, May 15. A business meeting will be at 10:30 a.m.

A fund raising event to support scholarships in memory of Nicole Barela and Andrea Cook will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.
