The ladies at the County Clerk’s office dressed as inmates for Halloween.The ladies at the County Clerk’s office dressed as inmates for Halloween. They claimed they were jailed for “toilet papering” the Courthouse.  Employees in several businesses around town dressed up for the occasion.

Alamo celebrates Halloween this week

The 12th annual Halloween celebration at the Alamo Mission Museum will be a two-part event on Friday and Saturday, October 27 and 28. On Friday night starting at 7:30, community members can visit the Haunted Schoolhouse.

The Providence Cemetery Association (PCA) realigned it’s board at its annual May meeting. The board was further aligned and the group’s next projects were planned in a special called meeting on Sunday, October 1.
