BBQ, stew cooks needed for Alamo Mission Museum Redneck Play Day

The annual Redneck Play Day and Trades Day events have been planned for Friday and Saturday, November 17-18 at the Alamo Mission Museum (AMM) grounds.

Seventh annual area salute to veterans Saturday afternoon

There will be a recognition of local area veterans in the Rose Mary Jennings Hall of the First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 11 with E. Ridley Briggs as the keynote speaker.

Alamo Halloween party well attended

Summer Morgan and Kaydence Brock were the winners in the kindergarten and under costume contest.The Alamo Mission Museum’s 12th annual Halloween Party was deemed a success with several hundred people enjoying games, food, a haunted house and hayrides on Saturday, October 28.
