Christmas parade date announced

The Community Events Committee has announced that the annual Christmas Parade will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5, and the theme is again “All About Disney.”
All floats will be judged for prizes this year, and there is no entry fee. First place will receive $200, second is $100, and third is $50. For more information, see the November 19 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
