Beta Club competes at State convention

A total of 21 Saltillo students participated in the State BETA Convention in Grapevine, TexasA total of 21 Saltillo students participated in the State BETA Convention in Grapevine, Texas on February 9-10 and many placed in various competitions. Edi Olayo received third place in Spanish, and Garrett Tarver was runner-up in Creative Writing. PTO Mother and Son Dance set for Feb. 17

The Mount Vernon PTO sponsoring a Mother and Son Dance from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, February 17. The dance will be at the Mount Vernon Elementary Cafeteria/Gym.

Shot clinic planned at MVISD campus

Members of the School Health Advisory Council will be hosts for an immunization clinic at the Mount Vernon ISD campus on Wednesday, March 7.
