Entries being sought for Hay Show Oct. 1

Entries are being accepted for the 2016 Mount Vernon / Saltillo Young Farmers Association Hay Show scheduled for Saturday, October 1. Entries for the show are $10 each.

Kick-off set for CHEMPA group

The annual Kick-Off Party for CHEMPA, the Christian Home Educators of the Mount Pleasant Area, will be Tuesday, August 23. The event will be from 7 to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.
