Food handling, law workshops Wednesday

The Cottage Food Law and Food Handlers workshops, which were cancelled last month due to inclement weather, have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12.

Relay for Life seeking teams for annual event

The seventh annual Relay for Life event is seeking teams to help fight against cancer. The format for the 2014  has changed. Instead of being overnight, it will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.

Blind Date with a book a big hit

The Franklin County Library’s ‘Blind Date with a Book’ program has been a hit with library patrons. A total of 79 books had left the library wrapped in plain brown paper with no indication of the title or author.
