Nomination deadline for community honors extended

The deadline to submit nominations for the Franklin County Man, Woman and Agriculturist of the Year and the Franklin County Hall of Fame awards has been extended until Wednesday, January 15.

City’s clean-up starts Saturday

The City of Mount Vernon’s  First Quarter Clean-Up starts this week. The eight day effort begins Saturday, January 4, and continues Monday through Saturday, January 6-11.
