Chamber to celebrate Fab 50s, ticket deadline next Tuesday

Chamber members and other supporters are urged to purchase tickets for the annual chamber banquet no later than Tuesday, February 19. The theme for this year’s event will be the Fab 50s.

Chamber banquet tickets available

Tickets for the annual Chamber of Commerce banquet are now available at the Chamber office on Kaufman St., Guaranty Bank and Trust, and all First National Bank locations.

Those winning were Katie Tovar - fourth grade, Audrey Eubanks - second grade, presenter Ken Greer, Peyton Bowers - seventh grade, and Krieg Stephens - eighth grade.Mount Vernon ISD students received $50 checks from the United Way for their winning essays about “Why I love Mount Vernon.”
