Route set for Saturday’s annual Christmas Parade

The route for the 74th annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 7 was announced this week. All parade entries are asked to report to parade coordinators no later than 10 a.m. for lineup instructions at the intersection of Kaufman and Jackson streets just north of the courthouse.

The parade will line up along English and Jackson streets. Judging will begin shortly thereafter. See the Dec. 5 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details.
