The Cottage Food Law and Food Handlers workshops, which were cancelled last month due to inclement weather, have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12.
Both classes will be conducted at the Titus County Extension Office. Recent changes to the Texas Cottage Food Law mean that more foods can be prepared and sold from a residential kitchen. A review of the changes in the law will be done in the 11 a.m. workshop. A materials fee charge of $10 is required. See the March 6 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information.
