Christmas parade registrations open

The Community Events Committee is still accepting applications for floats to join the annual Christmas Parade. This year’s parade has been set for 7 p.m. Saturday, December 15 and the theme is “All About Disney.”

Registration forms must be completed to participate, and each float will be required to use a minimum of 1,500 lights. For more details about registering a float for the parade, see the November 29 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
