Christmas parade Saturday, holiday activities planned

The annual lighted Christmas parade will travel the streets of Mount Vernon at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5. The official parade will begin on Rutherford St. at the Miller St. intersection.

It will travel east to Kaufman St., turn left and proceed to the downtown square. For more details, see the December 3 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
