Relay for Life raises $50,000

The seventh annual Franklin County Relay for Life began Friday, May 4 at Don Meredith Stadium with $33,000 already collected. A total of $50,000 was collected by the end of the event. The event was well attended with more than 200 people in the stadium despite the cold temperatures and strong winds that hindered many of the activities planned for the event.
