Royalty outsted at Dairy Queen

H. R. Barnett balances on a pallett supported by a forklift to remove limbs to which the bees has attached. There was an excess of royalty hanging around the Dairy Queen last week and one of the aristocracy and her entourage quickly wore out their welcome.

A queen bee and her swarm took up residence on a tree branch adjacent to the drive through window at the local eatery. The swarm had grown to about two feet in length in just a few days and several worker bees began to find their way into the restaurant.
