Pair arrested near gas pumps of Pct. 4 barn

Two people were arrested after Deputy Steve Matus noticed a suspicious 1999 Mitsubishi Montero parked at the gas pumps at the Pct. 4 barn around 1 a.m. Thursday, February 14.

Tractor, shredder purchase approved

The Franklin County Water District Board of Directors approved the purchase of a new tractor and shredder for use by the district’s operations division at a cost of $95,574.69, along with other monthly business at its February meeting.
