A crew from Southland Response, LLC in Henderson came to Mount Vernon on Saturday, Aug. 3 to help clean up after a diesel spill in town. A semi-truck owned by Hollywood Express in Yukon, Okla.
, traveled through Mount Vernon and spilled diesel on the roadway. According to reports, the truck had a hole in its diesel tank. The truck traveled into town on business 37 from Paris and turned west on Main St. before stopping.
