Representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety will be at the Franklin County East Annex on Thursday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make Voter Identification Cards.
They will be in the north end of the building near the Justice of the Peace offices. Voters are now required to show some form of photo identification (ID) when voting in person. For more information, see the October 17 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
