MMI defensive about courthouse

The owners of MMI General Contractors, who are the construction manager as contractor for the interior courthouse restoration project, stood to defend their work record on the project at the Monday, March 10 meeting of the Franklin County Commissioners Court.

Tom Woody spoke saying that recent political advertising was incorrect in saying that the project was behind and over budget. “This can have a direct impact on our business,” Mr. Woody stressed forcefully. He went on to state that he and co-owner, Chad Woody, were ready to go to their attorneys over the matter. See the rest of this story in the March 13 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
