Individuals at businesses, schools and other organizations throughout Franklin County are being encouraged to wear blue Wednesday, April 9, in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Franklin County’s Child Welfare Board is currently overseeing the needs of 11 children in foster and family placement care due to various forms of child abuse or neglect. “Go BLUE” participants are being asked to post their photos to their personal Facebook pages to share them with the rest of the community.
