Dwayne Bolin resigns from water district board

Dwayne Bolin (center) received a plaque commemorating more than 10 years of service as Pct. 3 Director on the Franklin County Water District’s Board. Dwayne Bolin announced his retirement as Place 3 Director on the Franklin County Water District’s Board at the board’s July meeting, which opened the door for an appointment to be made to fill his unexpired term.

Mr. Bolin told the board of a planned move from precinct three in the near future and had decided to resign to allow the board time to find a replacement for the remainder of his term, which expires in May 2019. See the August 3 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald to learn more about Mr. Bolin.
