Commissioners may be meeting more to pay bills, payroll

Franklin County Commissioners met in a special called session Monday to approve a repair contract and pay the bill.

This will be something commissioner’s courts across Texas may be doing with more regularity after the issuance of an opinion from the office of Texas Attorney General (AG) last week underscoring existing laws restricting review and approval to pay bills to  the court.
