Employee evaluations mark start of budget process

The Franklin County Water District Board of Directors began the 2018 Budget process by formally setting the ad valorem tax rate and the start of annual employee evaluations and compensation during their delayed September meeting last week.

The employee evaluations and compensation discussions took place during an executive session. Five of the district’s 13 employees, primarily in the maintenance department, were targeted for merit and/or area standard raises.
