Water from burst pipe to lead to repairs at hospital building

Franklin County Commissioners Court members joined a number of home owners with a list of repairs caused by burst water pipes.

The county’s repairs are an estimated 14,000 square feet of the county-owned hospital building. The problem was discovered with about 1-2 inches of water standing in the west wing and adjacent hall areas. See the January 11 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information about the extent of damages at the old hospital building.
