Director election canceled, 2018 clean audit received

The anticipated election of members to the Franklin County Water District’s board was canceled and a clean audit for the 2018 fiscal year was received in the March meeting of the district’s board.

The May 4 election was canceled since only one person filed for each of the three seats on the board, all of which are incumbents. For more information from this meeting and the results of the annual audit, see the April 4 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
