A blowout caused an accident between an 18 wheeler and a passenger vehicle on I-30A blowout caused an accident between an 18 wheeler and a passenger vehicle on I-30 Saturday, April 27, but no injuries were reported.

Rick Wright, age 53 of Sulphur Springs was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer east on I-30 in the left lane near the 144 mile marker. One of his tires had a blowout, which caused the Ford to strike the center median wall and then turn sharply to the right and collide with an 18 wheeler.
