Early voting through Friday, Primary Election day Tuesday

In-person early voting for the Republican and Democratic parties’ General Primary elections is from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, February 28.

Election day voting is set for Tuesday, March 3. The early voting polling place is at the Franklin County Annex East at 502 Hwy. 67E in Mount Vernon, just west of the City Cemetery. As of press time Tuesday, 430 voters had cast ballots in person in the Primary Elections. There had been 406 ballots cast in the 2016 primary as of this point.
