Woman jailed after assaulting ambulance technician

A medical emergency was called into the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office just after 8 a.m. Friday, March 27, to a residence on CR SE4396. The FCSO had previously received several calls for service to this location.

Deputy Dennis McBride was first to arrive on the scene. An ambulance arrived at the scene around 8:30 a.m., and Deputy McBride shared the information he had obtained with the  emergency technicians. EMT John Suits began speaking with the resident, and then Deputy McBride witnessed the person slap the EMT with an open hand.
