Local groups are victims of COVID-19

COVID-19 has caused a few more ripples locally. Both the Franklin County Genealogical Society and the Franklin County Historical Association have limited their availability or closed their facilities to the public.

The majority of the volunteers for both organizations are elderly. See the January 14 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information about the operating times for these two groups.
