Storm disaster declared, added architect work approved

A formal disaster declaration for Winter Storm Uri in February 2021 and a proposal for additional services from architects on the health building were approved in the Franklin County Commissioners Court meeting.

Members of the Court thought it was prudent to proceed with the countywide disaster declaration and extend the continuation of the disaster for at least seven days unless extended further by the Commissioners Court. See the March 4 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for the rest of this story.
