UIL realignment to be released Thursday

The biennial University Interscholastic League reclassification and realignment for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years will be released at 9 a.m. Thursday, February 1.

The new alignments, established by enrollment figures submitted to the UIL by its member schools in October, will serve as the football and basketball districts for the next two school years. Mount Vernon reported 469 high school students in October and will remain in the 3A Division 1 conference.
