Mount Vernon High School cheerleaders seventh at State

The Mount Vernon High School cheerleadersThe Mount Vernon High School cheerleaders claimed seventh place at the State UIL championship in the Game Day Cheer competition.

They competed against approximately 60 teams in the 3A division at the Fort Worth Convention Center Friday, January 15. For more information on this achievement, see the January 21 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
