Funeral services for Bob Narramore, 66, of Winfield were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwain Goodson officiating.
Burial followed at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery with Byron Bass, Peter Alaniz, Paul Davis, Don Hutchings, Gerald Hampton, and John Walton serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Narramore died Thursday, September 5, 2013 in Mt. Vernon. He was born on October 20, 1946 in Uvalde, Texas, the son of Rex Narramore and Mary Sue Bowen Narramore. He married Laurie Evelyn Schwab in Mesquite, TX, on October 17, 1981. He retired from Payless in 2009. After retirement, he spent his time working for the city of Winfield. He was a Christian.
Survivors include his father, Rex Narramore, of Winfield; son, Robert Joseph Narramore, and wife, Honey Evelyn, of Longview; son, Ryan Lee Narramore, of Longview; daughter, Katie Lane, and husband, Kris, of Flower Mound; daughter Leslie Erin Narramore, of Houston; brother, Kip Narramore, of Winfield; brother, Stan Narramore, of Winnsboro; brother, Terry Narramore, of Winfield; sister, Jeannie Coskey, of Winfield; sister, Susan Grubbs, of Winfield; and three grandchildren: Hannah Peterson, Ethan Peterson, and Andrew Lane. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Narramore, his wife, Laurie Narramore, and one brother, Andy Narramore.
