Funeral services for Carl Vincent Miller, age 75 of Winnsboro, were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ambrose Chinnappa and Bishop Edmund Carmody officiating.
Mr. Miller was born Nov. 1, 1937 in Detroit, Mich. to Carl and Harriet Beaubien Miller. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was retired from the computer industry. He served as a deacon in the Catholic Church for 35 years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mount Vernon where he served with the Cursillo and Marriage Encounter programs. He was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and he volunteered at the Winnsboro Center for the Arts.
He died Thursday, Sept. 5 in Winnsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Maryann Miller of Winnsboro; his sons and their wives, David and Rebecca Miller of Little Elm, Michael and Corina Miller of Austin, and Paul Miller of Denton; his daugthers and their husbands, Anjanette and George Shake of Plano, Danielle and Matthew Russell of McKinney; his brothers, Eugene Miller of Michigan and Richard Miller of Centerline, Michigan; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Louise and George Watson of Centerline; and eight grandchildren.
