Funeral service celebrating her victory in Christ will be held for Madeline J. Zahrt, 63, on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Scroggins, TX.
She was born in Ohio on July 7, 1950 to Richard and Vida Wingrove. She was received into faith by baptism Dec. 24, 1950. “Deede” was married to Ronald Zahrt June 27, 1970. Mrs. Zahrt died peacefully at home in Winnsboro, being called to her eternal rest on Jan. 19, succumbing to cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wingrove and sister, Nina Warren. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Zahrt, mother, Vida (Hap) Flayter, sister, Helen Heath, brothers, Lee, Ted and Gary Wingrove, numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Jesse and Sarah Zahrt, daughters and sons-in-law; Sarah and Forrest Logston and Audra and Ryan Bossert, and two granddaughters, Ziva and Siri.
