Cora Lee was born September 22, 1951 in Dothan Alabama, and left a life that she loved so dearly on January 21st, 2014, at 2:37pm with her loving and devoted husband by her side.

Cora Lee, grew up in Bossier City Louisiana, and later moved to Mt Vernon Texas where she is known as the “First Lady”; the wife of Pastor W. James Anderson, Jr. and together they have pastored New Life United Pentecostal Church in Mt. Vernon Texas for 28 years.  She was known for the love she showed everyone she met and especially for her faithfulness to pray for any need at any time.  She will be remembered as a sweet woman who faithfully created celebrations of life’s special moments for others, walked the hallways of hospitals, praying for the sick, and brought hope to hopeless situations and peace in moments of mourning. She was compassionate to everyone, especially to children, not just those in her congregation, but those she found homeless, hungry, and lost. Most of all, she loved Jesus more than life, and her example has inspired many to follow Him, and live a LIFE FULL OF GLORY, as she would say.

Cora Lee was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Anunizo Frank and Grace Christine Pacillo.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, W. James Anderson, Jr., her daughter Natalie Barnes and husband Keith, her son James Anderson and wife Lisa, grandchildren, which she loved so dearly, Anna Marie Burks, and husband Nathan, Anthony Barnes, Dylan Anderson and Joshua Anderson. Also left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Nancy Jowers, and husband Tom, Robert Pacillo, Michael Pacillo and wife Tammy, and Lorrie Nunley and husband Rodney.  She was a very loving Aunt to Shane Cary, and wife Charlayne, Jeremy Cary and wife Melissa, Michelle Johnson, and husband Bryan, Dustin Nunley, Frank Gaven, Brittney Brown and husband Anthony, Gabrielle Adams, and husband Curtis, Brandon Pacillo, Tabitha Nunley and Victoria Nunley, and several great nieces and nephews, as well.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Nathan Burks, and Anthony Barns,  brother in laws , Tom Jowers, Rodney Nunley, and nephews Shane Cary, Jeremy Cary, Dustin Nunley, and Bryan Johnson.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her church family that spent countless hours, serving and honoring their “First Lady”, Sister Anderson.
