Pony league All-Star team competes

 front row, right to left, Alic Hemingway, Cameron Foster, Bradley Pender, Kristian Ramirez, Jose Arzola, back row,   Coach Trey Clark, Josh Dunn, Nathan Castro, Christian Chamness, Coach Billy Chamness, Dmitri Rape, Braden Carroll, and Coach Chris Carroll.The Franklin County Pony league, 14 and under, All-Star baseball team was eliminated from their tournament in Commerce after losing 11-1 to Fannin County and then 14-4 to Commmerce.

More All-Star teams to take the field this weekend

The Majors, Belles, Ponytails and Sweetees Franklin County youth ball All-Star ball teams will begin competition this weekend with most games starting Friday, June 26.

All-Star action begins this weekend

Several Franklin County youth ball All-Star teams will jump into action this weekend. There are five local boys and girls teams that will be competing.

Angel, Pee Wee teams still competing in All-Star games

As of Tuesday afternoon, both the Franklin County Angels and Pee Wee All-Star teams remain in the running for championships in their respective tournaments this week.

Youth ball association adopts dual hiearchy for 2015-16
