The Franklin County All-Star 10 and under Minors baseball team tied for third place at the State tournament in Texarkana July 7-9.
The local team also received the Sportsmanship plaque for the tournament. For games scores and a listing of team members, see the July 12 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
