Girls soccer team wins indoor championship

Hadley Sears of Mount Vernon and her teammates on the MP Girls soccer team won the championship game in the Longview Indoor soccer league on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Miss Sears plays goalie for the team. They normally play in the Mount Pleasant under 12 recreational division, but were competing in the under 14 division at the Longview tournament. For more information, see the Feb. 21 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
