The Saltillo Lions basketball team finished their season as Regional Quarter finalists with a 26-9 record. The team lost to Slidell 44-42 Tuesday, February 26 at Bells High School.

The Saltillo Lady Lions finished their season as Regional Quarterfinalists with a 28-9 record. The Ladies lost to Slidell 51-30 on Tuesday, February 19.

Lady Tigers go 1-1-1 at Pilot Point tourney

The Mount Vernon Lady Tigers softball team competed in the Pilot Point Tournament Feb. 28 through March 2. Due to weather, they only played three games and went 1-1-1 during the competition.

Lady Tigers defeat Pittsburg, shut out Celeste

The Mount Vernon Lady Tigers softball team defeated the Pittsburg Lady Pirates 5-4 in a match Monday, February 18, and shut out Celeste 10-0 February 25.
