The Mount Vernon Lady Tigers fifth and sixth grade basketball team won their second straight tournament Aug. 3-4.
The Lady Tigers went 5-1 in the Lindale East Texas Hoops tournament by defeating Canton, Mineola, Winnsboro, and Nacogdoches Central Heights. For more information, see the Aug. 23 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
